What is ArtClash? ArtClash is a work-in-progress project, crafted by a single developer for his wife and fellow art enthusiasts. It's more than just a drawing app; it's a fun, interactive way to enhance your skills through engaging challenges and social interaction.
Current Features:
- Paint, Sketch, and Blend: Unleash your creativity with a variety of tools tailored for sketching, painting, and blending.
- Import and Reference Images: Use your favorite images as references or paint directly over them to refine your techniques.
- Interactive Challenges: Choose from a range of topics and optional constraints such as time limits, color restrictions, or canvas sizes. Draw your interpretation and earn points based on how many people correctly guess your artwork.
- Difficulty Levels: Engage with six levels of difficulty, from simple single-word prompts to complex combinations of up to five different words encompassing nouns, verbs, places, and time periods.
- Constraints for Extra Points: Opt for additional challenges like time limits, color limits, or specific canvas sizes to boost your scores.
- Free Drawing and Sharing: Create freely and share your masterpieces with the ArtClash community.
- NSFW Content Management: Toggle the visibility of content marked as NSFW, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.
Early Access Notes:
- User Interface: The current UI, built with Unity, is less than ideal. We're working on transitioning to XAML for a more responsive and user-friendly design.
- Performance Tips: For optimal performance, especially on lower-end devices, keep your canvases under 1024x1024. We're actively testing different engines to enhance the speed of our GPU-accelerated brush engine.

- Social Features: Enhance your profile with avatar changes, comment on projects, add friends, and follow other artists.

Important Note: While ArtClash is currently optimized for social competition and daily practice, it is not yet a comprehensive image editing suite due to performance issues with large textures and the ongoing development of full editing features.
