No God of War Remasters Coming in March, Confirms Santa Monica Studio

Recent online speculation suggested a major God of War announcement, including potential remasters, at an upcoming 20th-anniversary celebration. However, Santa Monica Studio has directly addressed these rumors.

The studio clarified that while the event will feature a panel celebrating two decades of God of War, including appearances by voice actors Terrence Carson (Kratos) and Carole Ruggier (Athena), no game announcements are planned. This contradicts earlier rumors, even those from industry insider Jeff Grubb, that hinted at classic God of War remasters.

Instead of new game reveals, the March 22nd event will showcase new artwork featuring Kratos and Jörmungandr, focusing on a retrospective look at the series' history.
