Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them
Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces Golden Idols, unique quest items not automatically added to your quest log. Unlike typical quest items, these aren't turned in to NPCs for progression; instead, they're valuable commodities. There are five in total, each fetching a significant gold reward.
How to Find the Golden Idols
After completing the initial exploration of the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment and traveling through the time portal, you'll arrive in Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present). This ancient Vaal city, representing the civilization's peak, holds three of the idols. The remaining two are located in the connected area, Aggorat.

These idols are found on the ground or pedestals, usually in side rooms. They are not dropped by enemies.
Selling Your Golden Idols
Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and speak with Oswald, located in the northern part of the area. He's the only vendor who will buy them. The prices are as follows:
Collecting all five idols yields a substantial 6000 gold reward. Since they occupy inventory space and serve only as sellable items, it's recommended to sell them immediately after discovery.
