2025 is shaping up to be a big year for monster hunting, with Monster Hunter Wilds poised to launch in Q1. Before the official release, you'll have another chance to dive in and experience the latest updates during the game's second open beta. Here's everything you need to know:
The Monster Hunter Wilds second open beta will run in two phases:
Phase 1: February 6th, 7:00 PM PT – February 9th, 6:59 PM PT Phase 2: February 13th, 7:00 PM PT – February 16th, 6:59 PM PT
Each phase lasts four days, giving you a total of eight days to explore the world of Monster Hunter Wilds. That's plenty of time to get a feel for the game's improvements and new features. The beta will be available on PS5, Xbox, and PC (via Steam).
This is an open beta, so there's no need to pre-register or sign up. Simply search for Monster Hunter Wilds on your platform's digital storefront (PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or Steam) closer to the start dates and download the beta client.
The highlight of the second open beta is the addition of the Gypceros hunt. All content from previous betas will also be available.
