NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run on Android, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operation.
Dead by Daylight Mobile, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, offered a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror experience. Players could choose to be either a Killer, hunting down Survivors, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.
Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:
The game's servers will power down on March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, meaning new downloads will no longer be possible after that date. Existing players can continue playing until the final shutdown date.
NetEase will process refunds according to regional regulations. Further details on the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.
Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be offered for players who invested time or money in the mobile version.
