Rumors suggesting the obsolescence of Pack Hourglasses in upcoming Pokemon TCG Pocket expansions have been officially debunked by The Pokemon Company. The statement confirms their continued use to reduce booster pack opening delays by one hour, regardless of the expansion.

This news is a relief to players who have been stockpiling these valuable time-savers since the game's October 2024 launch. The recent addition of the Mythical Island booster pack, containing 68 new cards, fueled speculation about the future utility of Pack Hourglasses, especially with another expansion anticipated in January 2025.
