Kupolovrax, a formidable boss in Project Tower, presents a challenging fight with its projectile-heavy attacks. This guide outlines strategies to overcome this difficult foe and emerge victorious.

While Kupolovrax's segmented design might tempt you to target specific areas, damage seems effective against its entire carapace.

Project Tower: Kupolovrax Boss Guide

Phase 1

Kupolovrax Phase 1

The fight begins with Kupolovrax on the platform. Maintain distance, consistently fire, and utilize these evasion techniques:

  • Orb Ring Fall: Kupolovrax drops rings of orbs. Look up, and dodge roll just before impact.
  • Orb Scattershot Fall: Similar to the ring fall, but orbs scatter. Strafe and dodge roll as needed.
  • Orb Line Push: This is the trickiest Phase 1 attack. Several lines of orbs target you. A more effective strategy is to wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward to avoid subsequent lines.
  • Stomp: Kupolovrax stomps, creating a shockwave. Simply jump over the shockwave while continuing your attack.

Phase 2

Kupolovrax Phase 2

Kupolovrax takes flight around 66% health. Maintain distance and use these strategies:

  • Orb Scattershot Fall: Slowly falling orbs. Keep an eye on the sky and strafe to avoid them.
  • Orb Ring Push: Rings of orbs close in. Hold your position until the last moment, then dodge roll left or right.
  • Orb Line Push: Similar to Phase 1. Wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward. Alternatively, dodge roll left or right, then dash in the opposite direction.

Phase 3

Kupolovrax Phase 3

Triggered at around 33% health. Similar to Phase 2, but with a modified attack:

  • Modified Orb Ring Push: This three-part attack consists of closing rings, two quick ring pushes, and finally, falling orb rings. Hold your position, dodge roll left, immediately dash right to avoid the quick rings, and walk forward to avoid the falling orbs.

Project Tower is available on PC and PS5.
