Journalist caches in Stalker 2 are scattered across various map regions, some containing multiple stashes. One such cache, located within a car and truck maze in the Garbage region, holds valuable armor. This guide details how to easily access this hard-to-reach stash.

How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze

To find the Journalist Stash, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While multiple entrances exist, use the main entrance (shown on the map above).

Proceed through the maze, keeping right until you reach a wrecked bus on its side. Look left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to locate the stash. Descend on the opposite side and open the cache to obtain the Tourist Suit Body Armor.

Is the Tourist Suit Armor Worthwhile?

The Tourist Suit is a top-tier early-to-mid-game armor in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It offers substantial protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key strengths are exceptional radiation and physical protection, mitigating significant damage.

Beyond its defensive capabilities, it boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Given the extensive on-foot travel in Stalker 2, improved stamina is crucial for extended exploration.
