Ultimate Arise Crossover Beginner’s Guide (Beta)

Arise Crossover might seem simple at first glance: collect Shadow units, attack defenseless enemies, and build a stronger team. But even experienced players can get lost in the progression, unsure about leveling, unit selection, and overall strategy. This guide is for those feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Each island in Arise Crossover offers various recruitable Shadows, including a powerful dungeon boss. Currently, Soondoo (early game) is the weakest, while Mifalcon (final Brum Island) is the strongest. Arise Crossover Shadows inventory showing Anders Rank S

However, rank trumps type. A Rank A Soondoo surpasses a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units have greater level potential; Rank D maxes at level 75, while SS units reach level 200. The ultimate team? Four level 200 Mifalcons (SS rank), but getting there is half the fun!

Dungeon portals appear every 30 minutes, lasting 15 minutes. Even joining a dungeon seconds before closure allows completion. Portals spawn randomly across islands, offering varying difficulty.

Start with a team of Rank D units and tackle Rank D or C dungeons on Leveling Island. This builds a foundation and might yield rare Shadow units. Dungeons are crucial for recruiting rare and higher-ranked (above C) units.

Whenever a portal spawns, join! Even without a strong team, wait near the portal; others often help lower-level players complete dungeons. Many solo these easily and welcome additional players. Accept this assistance to acquire higher-ranked units. Dungeon recruitment is key to progression in Arise Crossover.

We progressed to the endgame by leveraging this community help, completing a Rank A dungeon with a kind player. Later, we returned the favor, assisting others through Rank S dungeons. Pay it forward!

Arise Crossover Weapons

Currently (Beta), weapons are largely ineffective. Early-game utility diminishes quickly. The Iron Kando Blade (most powerful common weapon) costs 60m for 516.1K damage, insignificant compared to unit damage (200-400 million). Save your resources unless you have excess currency.

How to get a mount in Arise Crossover

Wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, claimable by only one player per server. A server-wide message announces spawns, but not always captures or disappearances.

Six potential spawn locations exist: one on the main islands' reverse sides and one on the smaller islands between major ones. Consult the developer's map (shown below).

Each mount is claimable only once. Capture attempts can fail. Flying mounts are rarest (10% spawn chance), ground mounts are common, and water mounts are available from the Boat Shop NPC.

For a mount, watch for server messages and quickly check all six locations. Mounts aren't essential for progression, but flying mounts greatly improve travel.

This guide will be updated with future game updates. In the meantime, check out the Arise Crossover codes for some free goodies!
