The app itself does not come with pre-loaded channels, so you'll need to compile your own playlist of channels, giving you the freedom to customize your viewing experience. For those interested in multicast streams, the app supports playing these through a UDP proxy, which you'll need to install on your local network. You can view your channels in a grid, list, or tile format, and the app supports Electronic Program Guides (EPG) in XMLTV and JTV formats. For multicast streams, using a UDP proxy is recommended: On Windows, download and install the UDP-to-HTTP proxy from here or select the corresponding option during the installation of IP-TV Player from here. For Linux users, install udpxy from here or here. The ideal setup involves installing udpxy on your WLAN router, which is supported by DD-WRT (here) and OpenWrt (here) firmware. Some WLAN routers even come with udpxy built into the manufacturer's firmware.
