Attention all CrossCode and 2.5D-style RPG enthusiasts! Radical Fish Games has just unveiled their latest project, Alabaster Dawn, a captivating 2.5D action RPG. In this new adventure, you'll step into the shoes of Juno, the Outcast Chosen, on a mission to revive humanity after a devastating 'Thanos-snap' by the goddess Nyx. Dive into the details of this exciting announcement from the studio.
The studio has also hinted at the release of a public demo for Alabaster Dawn in the near future, aligning with its Early Access debut in late 2025.
For those planning to attend Gamescom this year, Radical Fish Games will be showcasing Alabaster Dawn. Attendees will have the chance for a hands-on experience, though spots are limited. The team will also be available at their booth for discussions from Wednesday to Friday, offering a great opportunity to learn more about the game.
Set in the ravaged world of Tiran Sol, Alabaster Dawn unfolds in a wasteland left in the wake of the goddess Nyx's wrath, which has caused the disappearance of other gods and humanity. As Juno, your goal is to awaken the remnants of humanity and break Nyx's curse.
The game promises an extensive 30-60 hours of gameplay, spread across seven distinct regions. Players will engage in rebuilding efforts, establishing trade routes, and more, all while diving into dynamic combat inspired by iconic titles like Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and CrossCode itself. With eight unique weapons, each with its own skill tree, along with parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and cooking, Alabaster Dawn offers a rich and varied gameplay experience.
Radical Fish Games proudly announced that the first 1-2 hours of Alabaster Dawn are nearly fully playable, marking a significant milestone in its development. "It may not sound like much, but getting to that point is a big milestone for us," the developers shared, highlighting their progress and dedication to delivering a polished experience.
