Known Habitats: Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, and Ruins of Wyveria
Breakable Parts: Tail and Forelegs
Recommended Elemental Attacks: Fire and Lightning
Effective Status Effects: Poison (2x), Sleep (2x), Paralysis (2x), Blastblight (2x), Stun (2x), Exhaust (2x)
Effective Items: Flash Pod, Shock Trap, Pitfall Trap
Despite its immense size, the Doshaguma boasts surprising agility. Its leaps and dashes make it a challenging target, particularly for melee users. A Flash Pod temporarily stuns the beast, providing a crucial window for attacks or even mounting.
Prioritize attacking the Doshaguma's forelegs, boasting a 3-star weakness, for maximum damage. While the hind legs have a 2-star weakness, they're less optimal. The head also presents a 3-star weakness, offering a viable alternative. Targeting the tail, while less damaging, allows for breakage and extra monster parts.
In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, fire and lightning are your best elemental allies against the Doshaguma. Bowgun users should stock up on Flaming and Thunder ammo. Weapon decorations enhancing fire skills are also highly recommended. For fire attacks, focus on the head and torso; for lightning, concentrate your efforts on the head.
Beyond physical damage, the Doshaguma inflicts Blastblight, a status ailment leading to explosive self-destruction if the gauge fills or you sustain a heavy attack. Nulberries or Deodorant provide cures. Alternatively, three consecutive dodge rolls can remove the effect.
While brute force might be tempting, utilize the environment. The Doshaguma's hunting grounds often feature natural traps. Remember to sheath your weapon before using your slinger, ensuring the monster is directly beneath the trap before activating it.

Capture, rather than kill, is an option. Reduce the Doshaguma's HP to 20% or less. Once weakened, set a Shock or Pitfall Trap and lure the monster into it using Luring Ammo or meat bait if necessary. Then, repeatedly use tranquilizer ammo to subdue it.
This covers hunting and capturing the Doshaguma in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. Remember a hearty meal for beneficial food buffs before engaging this formidable foe.
