China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Ananta, formerly known as Project Mugen, is gearing up for launch after revealing its title and generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game, a blend of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even elements reminiscent of GTA, boasts a captivating anime aesthetic.

Approved for release in China, Ananta is slated to launch in 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A recently released trailer showcased the game as an open-world, urban RPG set in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova. Players take on the role of an A.C.D. agent, uncovering mysteries and embarking on thrilling explorations.

This ambitious project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its global appeal stems from its familiar yet supernatural environments, combined with engaging features. Key highlights include four-player team-based battles, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
