What is Phasmophobia's Challenge Mode?

Challenge Mode presents a weekly, rotating contract with unique conditions and pre-set equipment. Resetting every Sunday, each challenge varies in difficulty, sometimes mirroring standard investigations, other times demanding maximum skill. This is achieved through modified ghost behavior and/or limited equipment.

To complete a challenge, you must successfully finish the contract three times (not necessarily consecutively) before the weekly reset. Correctly identifying the ghost each time is crucial. While optional objectives offer bonus points (useful for prestige), they aren't mandatory. A completed challenge rewards $5,000 plus earned points.

Completing the "Do As I Command" Challenge

"Do As I Command" is considered one of the easier Challenge Mode options. The ghost displays less activity than usual, requiring you to actively elicit evidence. The contract takes place exclusively on the Sunny Meadows map (the "Restricted" version is excluded).

You're provided with a Tier 3 equipment loadout, and the fuse box is functional. This is beneficial, as Sunny Meadows investigations can be challenging, especially with a less active ghost. However, a significant advantage is the inclusion of all seven Cursed Possessions.

Unlike other challenges, all seven Cursed Possessions are available, conveniently located in the chapel (pictured above). Items like the Haunted Mirror or Ouija Board expedite ghost location, while others (Voodoo Doll, Monkey Paw) provoke activity for evidence gathering. Remember, these items carry risks like sanity loss and cursed hunts.
