Embark on an epic *Hollow Era* adventure as a Shinigami (Soul Reaper), one of two character archetypes in this Roblox hit inspired by the *Bleach* anime. This guide navigates your journey from Soul Spirit to powerful Shinigami, detailing quests, skills, and the path to mastering your powers.

Begin your journey as a Soul Spirit. To become a Shinigami, accept the initial quest offered by the NPC, Hurt Shinigami. This choice is irreversible; you cannot switch to a Hollow path unless you become a Visored (explained later). If you prefer the Hollow path, consult our separate Hollow progression guide.
The Shinigami/Hollow choice requires swift action. Choosing Hollow breaks your chain immediately. Choosing Shinigami causes the chain to break slowly (one section every two minutes). If you wait too long, the chain breaks, making you a Hollow. If this happens, consult our resurrection moves list for Hollow endgame strategies.
Your first quest involves purifying six Lost Souls. Follow this by accepting a quest from the NPC near Hurt Shinigami, delivering a letter to a doctor near the hospital. This early stage is ideal for familiarizing yourself with your powers.
Purchase a $1,000 random power sword from a Urakara shop. For faster travel across the large map, consider the $200 bus stop teleport or the 149 Robux infinite fast travel option in the Robux Shop.
Subsequent quests, marked by a red crosshair, involve defeating Hollows and Corrupted Shinigamis, leading to level 15. Quest types include repeatable, progression-based, and those tied to paths like Vizard and Airwalk.
Strategic skill point allocation maximizes your Reiatsu. The Reiatsu Skill Tree offers powerful Kido abilities, exclusive to Shinigami. Kido nodes increase Kido damage, while Reiatsu nodes boost your maximum Reiatsu. Kido abilities include:
Reach level 15 to unlock the Shikai Training quest from Urihiro. Defeat Urahara Kisuke to gain Shikai powers. Note: This may be challenging at level 15; consider grinding to level 25+ for easier completion.
Shikai grants a random powerful ability to your weapon. Re-roll it at the Urahara Shop if dissatisfied. Activate Shikai (default Y) when your Rage Bar is full, consuming Reiatsu until depleted or the key is released.
Shikai Mastery Levels increase with Mastery Points earned from using Shikai skills. Higher levels reduce Rage consumption and grant aura effects and visual changes:
Reach level 50 to unlock the Visored quest at the Vizard’s Warehouse. Becoming a Visored allows you to utilize Hollow powers by using a Hollow Mask. Defeat the King of Hueco Mundo (1% drop rate) to obtain Hogyoku, essential for Visored transformation.
Visored perks include Mask Control (reduces Hollow control) and the Visored node (extends mask usage time and increases damage).
Bankai is currently unavailable but is anticipated in future updates.
Use the lock-on button to target enemies, especially during lag. Learn to block attacks early on. Invest in the bus teleport for efficient travel. Prioritize Strength and Speed skill points initially. Press and hold J (default) to use your Reiatsu sense to reveal markers. While Hollows offer unique advantages, Shinigami might be a better choice if you dislike repetitive tasks.
