While DC has explored various Hush-related narratives since the original saga concluded, Batman: Hush 2 stands out as the first to be crafted by the iconic original team. The reunion of writer Jeph Loeb, artist Jim Lee, inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings promises to recapture the magic of the initial series.
Hush 2 picks up from the epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, where Batman uncovers evidence that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, aka Hush, survived their last confrontation. This revelation sets the stage for a gripping new mystery as Hush masterfully manipulates the Dark Knight's network of allies and adversaries.
Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue hitting comic stores on March 26. Following this arc, DC plans to relaunch the series with a fresh #1 issue and a new costume, ushering in a new era for Batman under the guidance of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
