Blizzard has unveiled the exciting details of what Diablo 4 players can expect from the Season 7 Battle Pass, set to launch on January 21, 2025. Titled the Season of Witchcraft, this season promises a fresh and immersive experience for players, marking the beginning of "Chapter 2" in the game's evolving narrative.
In contrast to the previous Season 6, dubbed the Season of Hatred Rising, Season 7 introduces players to the Witches of Hawezar faction. Players will embark on a thrilling quest to recover severed heads stolen from the Tree of Whispers, enhancing their abilities with Hawezar witchcraft through new Occult Gem items. They'll also face off against new adversaries, including the formidable Headrotten bosses.
The Diablo 4 Season 7 Battle Pass offers a comprehensive rewards system, detailed on the official Diablo 4 site. With 28 free levels and an additional 62 premium levels, players can progress through a total of 90 levels. The rewards include a variety of cosmetic items for armor and weapons, which can be used in the game's transmog system. Additionally, players can earn rideable mounts, Town Portal skins, emblems, and emotes.
The highlight of the Diablo 4 Season 7 Premium Battle Pass is the Grand High Witch Armor set. This striking armor, adorned with snake-themed decorations and exuding mystic power, transforms players into a formidable member of the coven, regardless of their class. For those on the free track, the Black Masquerade set offers five weapon transmogs, Armor Basics themed around formal wear, a title, a Town Portal effect, and Smoldering Ashes for Seasonal Blessings.
For players opting for the Premium or Accelerated Battle Pass, additional rewards await, including more armor and weapon transmogs, emblems, and Platinum for in-game purchases. The Season 7 Premium Battle Pass also introduces two unique mounts: the Wightscale, featuring light-colored snake scales and a brassy saddle, and the Nightwinder, with its crocodile-like scales and an eerie glow of occult power.
