Exclusive: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Release Date Revealed

The next chapter in the Sonic the Hedgehog saga is speeding towards theaters! Paramount Pictures has officially slated Sonic the Hedgehog 4 for a March 19, 2027 release, as reported by Variety. While details remain scarce beyond the release date, anticipation is high following the phenomenal success of Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3's impressive box office performance, raking in $218 million domestically and over $420 million globally, solidifies its position as the highest-grossing Sonic film to date. This achievement is particularly noteworthy considering the initial controversy surrounding the character's design, which underwent significant revisions during post-production. The film also claims the title of second-highest-grossing video game movie in North America, trailing only the animated Super Mario Bros.
