Treyarch is developing a much-requested in-game challenge tracker for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This feature, present in 2023's Modern Warfare 3, was notably absent from Black Ops 6's launch, disappointing many players.
While a release date remains unannounced, the feature's development was confirmed via a recent Twitter response from Treyarch. Its arrival is anticipated alongside the upcoming Season 2 content update later this month. This update will be a significant boon for players pursuing Mastery camos, as the tracker will provide real-time progress updates within the game's UI, eliminating the need to check progress after each match.
Recent Black Ops 6 updates included bug fixes for the UI and audio, along with XP boosts for the Red Light, Green Light mode. A controversial Zombies mode change (extended time between rounds and delayed zombie spawns) has been reverted following community feedback.
Beyond the challenge tracker, Treyarch also confirmed the development of separate HUD settings for Multiplayer and Zombies modes, addressing another player concern. This suggests a commitment to enhancing the overall player experience in Black Ops 6.
