This guide has been updated to include the latest Melee Expertise Quests, which allow players to purchase the Typhoon Blade from Kendo upon completion.

Weapon Expertise Quests Explained

Weapon Expertise Quests are a unique feature in Fortnite Hunters, intricately linked to specific NPCs on the map. Players are introduced to these quests through their initial interaction with Hope, Ruji, or Agent Jones, who provide insights into Expertise and weapon sales. Each Expertise Quest comprises five stages of challenges, and upon completion, players can unlock one of three Legendary weapons sold by Hope, Ruji, or Vengeance Jones. Subsequent quests also allow players to purchase Oni Masks from Daigo and the Typhoon Blade from Kendo. These quests can be tracked in the main lobby or in-game by navigating to the Quests Tab and selecting Expertise Quests.
