Fortnite: All Oni Masks & How To Get Them

This guide details how to obtain Oni Masks in Fortnite Hunters, a season featuring Japanese mythology-inspired skins and powerful items. Oni Masks grant unique abilities, enhancing offense or defense.

Oni Masks & Their Abilities:

• Void Oni Mask: Offers superior mobility. Throw a Void Tear (Shoot Button), then teleport to its location (Aim Button while mask is equipped). The Epic variant has 15 uses, 5-second cooldown; the Mythic variant has 50 uses.

• Fire Oni Mask: Deals significant damage. Press the Fire Button to launch a guided flame projectile inflicting 100 damage. Multiple enemies in close proximity can be hit simultaneously. The Epic variant has 8 uses, 8-second cooldown; the Mythic variant has 16 uses.

How to Acquire Oni Masks:

• Elemental Chests: The most straightforward method. These chests guarantee an elemental item, including Oni Masks (though which mask is random). Named POIs offer the highest chance of finding them.

• Defeating Demon Warriors: These enemies, marked by an Oni Mask icon on the map, sometimes drop either a Void or Fire Oni Mask (depending on which they wield). They may also drop Typhoon Blades and Boons.

• Regular Chests: A less reliable method; all chests have a small chance to contain Epic rarity Void or Fire Oni Masks.

• Purchasing from Daigo: A guaranteed method. At Masked Meadows, Daigo sells both masks for Gold Bars, but only after completing all stages of his Mask Expertise Quests.

• Daigo's Hidden Workshop: Another guaranteed method. Located beneath the building on the north side of Masked Meadows, this hidden workshop contains a machine that drops both Void and Fire Oni Masks.

• Defeating Bosses (Mythic Masks Only): Defeat Night Rose (Demon's Dojo) for the Mythic Void Oni Mask, or Shogun X (Shogun's Arena) for the Mythic Fire Oni Mask. These function identically to their Epic counterparts but have increased uses.
