Game of Thrones: Kingsroad announces closed beta test coming this month

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad – Closed Beta Incoming!

Netmarble's upcoming Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, adapted from George R.R. Martin's books and the HBO series, is launching a closed beta on Android and PC starting January 15th! The beta runs until January 22nd and will be available in the US, Canada, and select European regions. Sign-ups are open now!

Unlike previous Game of Thrones mobile titles focusing on strategy, Kingsroad offers a third-person action-adventure experience. Players become the heir to House Tyrell, embarking on a journey across Westeros, battling enemies, and building prestige.

The trailer showcases a Witcher-esque gameplay style, featuring third-person exploration and combat with three distinct character classes: Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin. While visually impressive, the ultimate success will depend on the final product.

Beta Registration Closes Soon!

Register for the closed beta before January 12th! While the game looks promising, it will undoubtedly face intense scrutiny from the dedicated Game of Thrones fanbase. Monetization strategies and long-term support will be key factors in determining its reception.
