Lenovo clarifies recent rumors: No Halo 5: Guardians PC port is imminent. A promotional image for the Lenovo Legion Go S showcasing Halo 5 on Steam was, in fact, a design mockup, not a leak.

This leaves Halo 5 as the sole mainline Halo title absent from PC, a notable omission given the PC release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and even the standalone Halo 5 Forge editor in 2016. While the persistent rumors and the image fueled speculation, Lenovo's senior community manager directly denied a leak, stating the image was a mistake. The image remains on Lenovo's website, further suggesting it was an unintentional error rather than a deliberate reveal. The company is reportedly addressing the issue with its design team.

Despite the debunking, hope for a future PC port isn't entirely extinguished. Microsoft's increased focus on PC gaming in recent years could lead to a future release, although there's currently no official confirmation.
