Design Home partners with HGTV, launching challenges inspired by Fixer to Fabulous and House Hunters.
Beginning February 19th, players can participate in weekly design challenges themed around episodes like "Bentonville Beauty" and "Arkansas Amazement." These challenges utilize real-world furniture and decor from brands such as West Elm, Jonathan Adler, Williams Sonoma, and Kathy Kuo, allowing players to create and submit designs for voting and rewards.
Further challenges based on House Hunters will be added, tasking players with designing rooms reflecting the needs and preferences of fictional homebuyers. This requires balancing aesthetics with practicality, testing creative skills within the game's extensive item catalog.
The collaboration extends beyond the game; Design Home will be featured in a Fixer to Fabulous episode airing March 25th at 8/7c on HGTV, streaming the following day on Max and discovery+. Hosts Dave and Jenny Marrs will participate in Design Home challenges, showcasing their design expertise.
Boasting over 131 million players globally, Design Home offers an extensive library of over 18,000 challenges, nearly 100 brand partnerships, and 61,000 furniture and decor items. The game allows players to explore diverse design styles, creating everything from cozy living rooms to contemporary kitchens.
