Honkai Impact 3rd Set to Drop v8.1 Update ‘Drumming in New Resolutions’

Honkai Impact 3rd is gearing up to release its v8.1 update, titled "Drumming in New Resolutions," on February 20th, and players have much to anticipate. From new battlesuits and outfits to special anniversary rewards, this update promises to enhance your gaming experience significantly.

What's New in the Update?

Kiana returns with a bang in her new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star, poised to ignite the battlefield. With a long staff in hand, she executes a dynamic 4-sequence attack that inflicts Fire DMG and accumulates Passion Marks, paving the way for powerful AOE damage. Her recommended weapon and PRI-ARM amplify her fiery capabilities, ensuring enemies are thoroughly scorched. Meanwhile, the Herrscher of Human: Ego receives new gear, including a recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and a matching stigmata set.

On the narrative front, the v8.1 update delves deeper into Leylah's story. Following the Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana reenters the real world, joining forces with Rice Cake and embarking on a new mission assigned by Theresa. Their destination? The Moon Base, set for a festive celebration. By navigating through the interlude, players can earn Crystals, Source Prisms, and various other rewards.

A delightful addition to the update is a fun board that allows players to collect Yearly Chibis for team-building. Moreover, accumulating shop tokens enables trades for Crystals, Coralie's new outfit, and a plethora of other rewards.

New Outfits and Looks

In addition to Coralie, Luna and Vita are also getting fresh looks. Luna's new outfit is accessible through spend bonuses, while Vita's outfit will be available in Outfit Supply.

Anniversary Rewards Galore

The update also brings exciting anniversary rewards. Simply logging in daily for seven days will earn you a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem, and more. Continue your login streak for another seven days post-update, and you'll receive Kiana's Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human's new Stigma Option, and 10 Equipment Supply Cards.

From February 25th to March 4th, daily logins will grant you an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and additional rewards. As a special thank-you, every player will receive five Battlesuit Supply Cards upon the update's launch.
