Honor of Kings' 2024 Snow Carnival: A Festive Update Packed with New Content!

Tencent's popular MOBA, Honor of Kings, is launching its inaugural holiday event, the Snow Carnival 2024, bringing a flurry of exciting updates. Prepare for new enemies, free purchase events, and enhanced gameplay mechanics, making this holiday season a truly memorable one for players.

Gameplay enhancements begin November 28th and run through January 8th. New bosses, the Snow Overlord and Snow Tyrant, debut on November 28th, introducing chilling slow and freeze effects. Starting December 12th, several heroes (Lady Zhen, Princess Frost, Zhuangzi, Dolia, DaQiao, and Shi) gain enhanced water-based skills, capable of freezing opponents.

Navigating the jungle will present new challenges. Glacial Twists hazards, active from November 28th to December 11th, will impede movement. From December 12th to the 23rd, summoning Shadow Vanguard will trigger an ice path effect. Finally, from December 24th to January 8th, defeating the river sprite rewards players with an ice sled for strategic maneuvers.

A Winter Wonderland of Rewards

The festivities extend to the in-game economy. The Zero Cost Purchase Event, running from December 6th to January 8th, allows players to obtain a free item without spending tokens. The Gift Exchange event, active from December 24th to January 1st, lets players exchange gifts with friends, with a Gift Opening period from January 1st to the 4th offering a chance to win a skin, potentially even a legendary one!
