One More Level, Creators of Ghostrunner, Reveal Image of Their New Game

One More Level, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has revealed a new project: Cyber Slash. Known for their fast-paced, brutal action games, One More Level is branching out with this title, set in a dark, alternate-history Napoleonic era.

While the studio is also developing Project Swift, slated for a 2028 release, the newly unveiled image strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash promises an epic and challenging action experience, diverging from the Souls-like formula. Though parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses will remain core mechanics, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, adding a unique evolution element to the gameplay. Expect a thrilling reimagining of the Napoleonic era, filled with legendary heroes battling terrifying, unknown forces. The Ghostrunner games averaged 81% and 79% (first game) and 80% and 76% (sequel) critical acclaim, setting a high bar for One More Level's next venture.
