In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there's a plethora of activities to dive into, and not all of them involve chasing down the game's colossal beasts. If you're aiming to unlock the coveted A Prize Held High trophy or achievement, here's your comprehensive guide to doing just that.

How to Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

Contrary to what the trophy's name might suggest, dragons and wyverns aren't your target here. Instead, you're looking for the elusive Curioshell Crab, which you can catch using your Capture Net.

Finding this creature can be a bit tricky since it's scattered across various maps. However, the Scarlet Forest has proven to be a reliable spot for us. Start from the base camp and head towards Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, nestled between Areas 2 and 6.

Once you reach this area, focus on the nearby puddle of water—a prime spawning spot for the Curioshell Crab. If it's not immediately visible, Alma can help. She'll mention if a creature nearby is carrying something, signaling the presence of a Curioshell Crab.

Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and then fire to capture the crab. Success here nets you not only a Curioshell Crab but also an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

Given the crab's swift movement, anticipate its path and shoot ahead to ensure a successful capture. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you might also find the Curioshell Crab in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. It can appear in other map areas as well, but these are the spots we've tested and confirmed.

That's all you need to know about securing the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and guides, be sure to explore The Escapist.

*Monster Hunter Wilds is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
