Effective point allocation is crucial for a smooth endgame. This guide outlines optimal Atlas skill tree setups for both early and late-game mapping.

Best Early Mapping Atlas Skill Tree (Tier 1-10)

The primary early-game focus is securing sufficient Waystones to progress to higher-tier maps (T15s). While map juicing is tempting, prioritizing T15 map access is key for serious endgame farming. These three nodes should be your top priority:

Skill	Effect
Constant Crossroads	20% increased Quantity of Waystones found in maps.
Fortunate Path	100% increased rarity of Waystones found in maps.
The High Road	Waystones have a 20% chance of being a tier higher.

By completing Doryani's Tier 4 map quest, you should have enough points for all three. Constant Crossroads directly boosts Waystone drops; Fortunate Path reduces Regal, Exalted, and Alchemy Orb usage on Waystones; and The High Road significantly increases the chance of obtaining higher-tier maps.

Before tackling T5+ maps, ensure your character build is finalized. No Atlas setup compensates for character weakness.

Best Endgame Atlas Skill Tree (Tier 15+)

At Tier 15, Waystones are less critical. The goal shifts to maximizing rare monster drops, the most lucrative source of loot. Prioritize these nodes:

Twin Threats	Adds +1 Rare monster per map; synergizes with Rising Danger (+15% Rare monsters).

If Waystone drops become scarce, respec back into the Waystone nodes. Consider investing in higher-tier Waystone nodes and Tablet Effect nodes if you choose to forgo Local Knowledge. Remember to carefully consider the impact of Local Knowledge on your chosen map biomes before activating it.
