Get ready for a winter wonderland in Pokémon Sleep! This year's holiday event brings two adorable new Pokémon to your slumber party: Eevee in a Santa hat, and the exciting debuts of Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix.
Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix Debut in Pokémon Sleep
Join the festive fun starting the week of December 23rd during the December 2024 Holiday Dream Shard Research event! This event offers increased chances to encounter Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix, along with various bonuses to boost your sleep research and Dream Shard collection. And yes, shiny versions of both Pokémon will be available from the start!
Catching Pawmi in Pokémon Sleep
Image via the Pokemon CompanyPawmi enters the scene at 3 PM on December 23rd, appearing on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant. Your chances are significantly higher during the event week. Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot are all Snoozing-type Pokémon. While you can evolve Pawmi using Candies, you'll only discover their sleep styles through wild encounters. A Snoozing sleep type (a light, common sleep pattern) greatly increases your chances of finding them. Balanced sleep types also offer a possibility, but with reduced odds.
Catching Alolan Vulpix in Pokémon Sleep
Image via The Pokemon CompanyAlolan Vulpix also arrives at 3 PM on December 23rd, but is a bit more elusive, appearing only on Snowdrop Tundra. Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Ninetails are Slumbering-type Pokémon, requiring a deep, 8-hour sleep for optimal encounter rates. While a Balanced sleep type might yield results, it's less likely.
