Pokémon Go is bringing back the Bug Out event with Sizzlipede’s debut this time

Get ready for the Bug Out event in Pokémon Go, returning from March 26th to 30th! This exciting event introduces Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch, alongside a surge of Bug-type Pokémon. Expect wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and new challenges.

Lure Modules are key this time around. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but catching enough Pokémon at a single PokéStop using a Lure Module will significantly boost the number of Pokémon appearing there. You'll also enjoy 2x XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with increased Candy XL chances for Trainers level 31 and above. Shiny hunters, rejoice! Your chances of finding Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are increased.

Expect a flurry of Bug-type Pokémon in the wild, including Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, Nymble, and even a chance to encounter Cutiefly.

Raids will feature Sizzlipede in one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor take over three-star raids. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks for Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.

Don't miss the free Timed Research with encounters featuring Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, plus a Lure Module. For extra rewards, a paid Timed Research option (approximately $2 or local equivalent) offers encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, two Premium Battle Passes, and an extra Lure Module.

New Collection Challenges offer Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters, while PokéStop Showcases highlight event Pokémon. And finally, grab the new Sizzlipede Boots and Scolipede Jacket from the in-game shop!
