Niantic is launching a special end-of-year Catch-a-thon event in Pokémon Go, giving trainers another shot at catching previously Community Day-exclusive Pokémon and earning exclusive rewards, including shiny variants.

This two-day event takes place on December 21st and 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. Featured Pokémon with shiny possibilities include:

  • December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet.
  • December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio.

During the final ten minutes of each hour, trainers can encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. The event also boasts 2x Catch XP and 2x Stardust, along with other bonus rewards. For complete details, visit the official Pokémon Go website.
