Tired of your Avowed character's performance? We've all been there – a wrong class choice, attributes you regret. This guide shows you how to respec and revamp your stats in Avowed.
Choosing the perfect character build at the start of a game is tough. Respeccing lets you fix mistakes and refine your playstyle. In Avowed, I initially went full wizard, only to get consistently overwhelmed. Switching to a spellsword drastically improved my gameplay. Respeccing later allows you to optimize your build and dominate battles.
To respec your abilities, open the menu and go to the "Abilities" section. Near the bottom, you'll find the "Reset Points" option. The initial cost is 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing with gameplay progress. Click the button, confirm, and pay the price to reset all ability points except those in the unchangeable "Godlike" skill tree (acquired through in-game choices).
Happy with your abilities but not your attributes? Or want a complete overhaul? Open the menu, navigate to "Character," and look below your attribute list. You’ll see a button to reset your attributes, with a cost (initially 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing over time). Click, pay, and reclaim your attribute points.
To respec your companion, open the menu, go to "Abilities," then select the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll see a button to respec for a Copper Skeyt cost. Click and confirm to reclaim their points. Note: You must respec each companion individually.
That's how to respec in Avowed. Enjoy your refined character!
