Secure Your Shiny Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Home!
Pokémon Home is offering a fantastic opportunity to add Shiny Meloetta, Manaphy, and Enamorus to your collection. While obtaining all three requires significant effort, the rewards are well worth the dedication. This guide details the steps involved in acquiring each shiny legendary.
Claiming Shiny Manaphy:
Complete the Sinnoh Pokédex in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl. After registering all 150 Sinnoh Pokémon in Pokémon Home, a Shiny Manaphy will be sent to your Nintendo account via Mystery Gift. This is a significant achievement, as Shiny Manaphy is exceptionally rare outside this event.
Securing Shiny Enamorus:
Similar to obtaining Manaphy, you need to complete a regional Pokédex – this time, the Hisui Pokédex from Pokémon Legends: Arceus. With 242 Pokémon to register, this is a more extensive task. Once complete, confirm your progress in Pokémon Home, and claim your Shiny Enamorus via Mystery Gift. The open-world nature of Legends: Arceus might make this challenge slightly more manageable.
Unlocking Shiny Meloetta:
Shiny Meloetta is the most challenging to obtain, requiring completion of three Pokédexes: Paldea, Kitakami, and Blueberry. These are found within Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and crucially, require both base games and the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. You must catch these Pokémon directly in Scarlet and Violet; transferring them from other games won't suffice. The Paldea Pokédex contains 400 Pokémon, Kitakami 200, and Blueberry 243. This event provides the only current method to obtain a Shiny Meloetta.
Importantly, these promotions are ongoing, allowing players to progress at their own pace. Enjoy the hunt!
