Shiny Pokémon Coming Soon to Pokémon TCG Pocket!

Exciting news for fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket! The game is set to sparkle with the addition of Shiny Pokémon in the upcoming Shining Revelry expansion. The Pokémon Company has officially announced that these dazzling versions of your favorite Pokémon will enhance the digital card game starting March 27th, 2025. The expansion promises over 110 new cards, including Shiny versions of beloved Pokémon such as Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu.

One of the coolest features of this update is the new digital format that allows Shiny cards to shimmer when tilted. Additionally, starting April 1st, players can acquire a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder, adding a touch of flair to their collections. The update isn’t just about Shinies; characters from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games, such as Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono, will also make their debut in the TCG Pocket.

From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, offering players the chance to earn a deck ticket. This ticket can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks, giving players a great opportunity to kickstart their collections. Ranked Matches Are Finally Coming!

Get ready to test your skills in Pokémon TCG Pocket, as ranked matches are set to launch! The inaugural season starts on March 28th and will run through to April 27th, featuring the new cards from the Shining Revelry expansion. You’ll be matched with players of similar skill levels, ensuring competitive and engaging gameplay. At the end of the season, you’ll receive an emblem to showcase on your profile, reflecting your final rank.
