Suzerain, the critically acclaimed narrative government simulation game, marks its 4th anniversary with a significant mobile relaunch on December 11th, 2024. Instead of minor celebratory updates, Torpor Games is delivering a major overhaul of the mobile experience.
Originally launched on Android in December 2022, Suzerain tasks players with leading the fictional nation of Sordland through complex political scenarios and difficult choices. This relaunch brings substantial improvements.
The Kingdom of Rizia Expands the Narrative:
The most significant addition is the inclusion of the Kingdom of Rizia storyline, previously unavailable on mobile. This update brings complete narrative parity with the PC version, allowing mobile players to experience the full depth of Suzerain's political intrigue in both Sordland and Rizia.
New Progression System and Cloud Saves:
Two key features enhance gameplay: Political Influence Levels and Story Points. Players earn XP through daily challenges and achievements, unlocking rewards and accelerating progress through the narrative. A new cloud save system ensures game progress is securely stored, though cross-platform saves are not yet implemented.
Freemium Model with Options:
Suzerain's mobile relaunch adopts a freemium model. Players can experience the game for free by watching ads to earn Story Points. Alternatively, premium story packs for Sordland ($19.99) and Rizia ($14.99) offer ad-free access. Subscription options ranging from daily to monthly passes are also available, with a Lifetime Pass providing permanent, ad-free access to all content.
Launch Details:
The Suzerain mobile relaunch is scheduled for December 11th, 7 PM CET. Download it on the Google Play Store.
