Hazelight Studios has consistently offered a unique approach to gaming. Their signature feature—allowing two players to enjoy the full experience with only one purchase—has set them apart. While previous titles lacked cross-play, a feature seemingly perfect for their co-op focus, this limitation is now a thing of the past.
Excitingly, Split Fiction will include cross-play functionality, officially confirmed by the developers. The popular Friend's Pass system returns, meaning only one player needs to buy the game for a two-player experience (both players will, however, require an EA account).
Adding to the anticipation, Hazelight has unveiled a playable demo. Players can team up to experience a taste of Split Fiction, with their progress carrying over to the full game upon release.
Split Fiction promises diverse settings, but its core will explore the complexities of human relationships. Launching March 6th, it will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
