At the Essence of Fandom: Like a Dragon & Yakuza Experience event during Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Like a Dragon Chief Producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto and Ichiban Kasuga's voice actor, Kazuhiro Nakaya, hinted at their next project. They teased attendees, stating, "We can’t tell you what kind of game it is, but I will tell you, you’ll be surprised."
