RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev's Diary for April, detailing the latest update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly." This new quest, available from today until April 28th, challenges players to navigate the treacherous Shifting Tombs and alter the fate of the desert alongside Leela and Ozan.
The situation in the Kharidian desert is heating up, with Menaphos teetering on the brink of chaos. Osman's shocking betrayal has left the city in turmoil, its people divided and the ominous presence of Amascut lurking in the shadows. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is just the first hurdle in a series of daunting challenges ahead.
You won't be facing these trials alone. With Leela by your side and new allies, including some adorable pets, you'll delve deep into Menaphos's ancient secrets to unravel Osman's true intentions.
Completing Pharaoh's Folly comes with rewarding benefits. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new item, Leela's Favour bracelet. This bracelet provides the convenience of teleporting across Menaphos districts, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.
However, embarking on the Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly quest requires more than just a casual stroll out of Lumbridge. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the "Beneath Scabaras' Sands" quest, and to have completed certain tasks in the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club.
Additionally, players must have progressed in the Fort Forinthry storyline by constructing the necessary structures. Once these prerequisites are met, you can meet Leela outside Menaphos's gates and work together to save the city from collapse. If you fulfill all these requirements, download RuneScape from the Google Play Store and embark on your journey back to the desert!
Stay tuned for our next update on the cancellation of Netflix Stories, and find out how you can still enjoy the game!
