Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Returns After Extended Maintenance!

Remember SAOVS, Bandai Namco's action RPG launched in November 2022? After an unexpectedly long "never-ending maintenance" that began in September 2023, SAOVS (Sword Art Online Variant Showdown) is back! While initially slated to return this summer (2024), the relaunch took longer than anticipated due to significant core functionality issues requiring extensive developer attention.

What's New in the Re-released SAOVS?

The game's comeback includes:

• Battle Royal Season 1: A new Battle Royale mode has launched, pitting four players against each other in a knockout competition. Compete in League Matches to earn Titles and accessories. This season runs until December 30th.

• Returning Player Campaign: Loyal players who endured the maintenance period will receive 5 Sword Spark Mito Pickup Scout Tickets as a thank-you gift.

• Restart Celebration: Enjoy the "Restart Celebration: Six Great Campaigns" event, offering up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and missions with epic rewards. This event lasts until January 30th, 2025.

• SSR Sword Spark Mito and New Ability Cards: Players have a chance to acquire the Light-elemental fighter SSR Sword Spark Mito, along with the new SSR Ability Cards "Destroyer of Destiny" and "Seasoned Comrades." This opportunity is available until January 6th, 2025.
