T-1000 gameplay trailer for MK1 brings more references to the Terminator 2 movie

NetherRealm and WB Games have released the official gameplay trailer for the T-1000, the latest addition to Mortal Kombat 1, arriving next Tuesday. This liquid metal assassin offers a unique playstyle, creatively dodging projectiles with his shape-shifting abilities. Fans of Kabal, absent from this iteration, will likely find much to appreciate in the T-1000's moveset, which incorporates some familiar elements.

The trailer is packed with references to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, including a recreation of the iconic finger-wagging scene (a gesture famously banned in the NBA!). The T-1000 even asks Johnny Cage if he's seen John Connor, adding another layer of cinematic flair.

Alongside the T-1000, the trailer also showcases Madam Bo, another upcoming addition to the roster. The T-1000's Fatality is particularly noteworthy, showcasing his ability to transform and replace his victim – a chillingly efficient method of eliminating his foes.

While WB Games hasn't made further announcements, speculation is rife that this might be the final content wave for Mortal Kombat 1, with a potential new game announcement on the horizon. However, this remains unconfirmed.
