Tears of Themis Unveils 'Ballad of the Dunes' with Captivating MR Cards

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils its latest update: "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This exciting crossover event merges the thrill of detective work with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a historic city bordering the Gobi Desert.

What's New in "Ballad of the Dunes"?

This event masterfully blends history, romance, and mystery, transporting players to the ancient Silk Road. Prepare to unravel intriguing enigmas amidst the evocative ambiance of Dunhuang. Key additions include:

• Four New MR Cards: Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius each receive a stunning new MR card, each inspired by distinct aspects of Dunhuang's culture, showcasing elements like flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the traditional pipa. The artistic style mirrors the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves.

• Unique Card Stories: Each card features a unique narrative: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation." Private Messages further enrich the experience, offering a deeper dive into this thousand-year-old journey.

Event Rewards:

From February 13th to February 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and various other rewards by completing event tasks. A central gameplay element involves a cell-flipping board game to reveal prizes.

The ultimate reward is the choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Completing 100 cell flips unlocks the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes" Namecard.
