Switzerland and its neighbors join the Ticket to Ride game! This expansion introduces country-to-country connections, adding a new strategic layer to the gameplay. Two new characters and four new tokens also debut, making this the perfect holiday gift for Ticket to Ride enthusiasts.

The Switzerland expansion introduces a fresh dynamic to the game, challenging players to build railroad empires across Switzerland and its neighboring nations. Both country-to-country and city-to-country routes are now available, demanding careful strategic planning. Country-to-country tickets offer multiple connection options (e.g., France to Germany, Italy, or Austria), each with varying point values. City-to-country tickets function similarly, but connect a city to a country.

The scoring system rewards efficient route planning. Completing a ticket earns points based on the highest-scoring connection, while failing to connect results in a point deduction based on the ticket's lowest value. The limited number of nodes in each country further emphasizes strategic decision-making.
