Following the March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, you can now progress to the Fire Seal after clearing the previous altars. To unlock this seal, you'll need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a detailed guide on how to obtain each item and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact located within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure you're running the latest game version, then navigate through the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. To find it, use your pickaxe or shovel to dig in marked areas on the ground. Be prepared to spend time searching, as this gem is not easy to come by.

Rockroot is a common forageable item found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you're a regular miner, you might already have this in your inventory. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image above. You'll only need one Rockroot to complete the Priestess' altar.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are the easiest items to collect for the Fire Seal offerings. They can be found in Emerald geodes on Floors 50-59 of the mines. These are quite common, so you should be able to gather what you need quickly. Alternatively, you can obtain Emeralds by breaking large boulders around Mistria or purchasing them from Balor's Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, you can also craft them yourself.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll is the final item required to break the Fire Seal. This item is part of a quest that starts after you meet Juniper upon discovering the seal. You'll need to recruit Balor to acquire the scroll, but it comes with a cost. To obtain the Sealing Scroll, you must provide:

  • x10 Silver Ingots
  • x10 Rubies
  • x10 Sapphires
  • x10 Emeralds

If you're short on any of these items, you can find them in the mines. Once you've gathered everything, deposit them in the bin by Balor's Wagon.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and more content during Early Access.

NOTE: *Fields of Mistria* is currently in Early Access, and its content may change. The information provided is accurate as of Version 0.13.0 and will be updated if necessary.

*Fields of Mistria* is available to play now in Steam Early Access.
