Warframe's Techrot Encore Update: On-Lyne Goes Off-Lyne Soon

Warframe: 1999, with its unique Y2K aesthetic, is gearing up for an exciting update in March. Dubbed Techrot Encore, this update promises to enhance the gameplay experience with the introduction of the 60th Warframe, Temple, and four new Protoframes. Techrot Encore also introduces a new twist to the Lich adversary system with the debut of the Technocyte Coda. Previously known as the boy band On-Lyne, these former stars of the ARG leading up to Warframe: 1999's release have now transformed into formidable foes. Their transition from pop icons to cybernetic adversaries adds a fascinating layer to the game's narrative.

To aid players in facing these new challenges, the update includes four new Scaldra weapons, offering diverse options for combat, whether you prefer to blast or slash your way through enemies. Additionally, the update brings enhancements to the Romance & Relationships system, appealing to players interested in deepening their in-game connections. A new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin is also on the horizon, allowing players to further personalize their Warframes.
