LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is gearing up for an exciting launch later this month, set to revolutionize your gaming experience with a cosmic-themed update. Dive into the Dual Nova galaxy, featuring the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star, where you'll find revamped menus and a transformed battlefield waiting for you.
This patch introduces three new champions, each bringing unique abilities to the game. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes devastating AoE damage and can strategically reposition his team with Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives in chaos, using Paranoia to cloak the battlefield in darkness and strike fear into his foes. Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time itself, slowing enemies and bringing allies back from the brink with Chronoshift.
Several champions are also receiving significant reworks. Garen’s Courage ability will now scale over time, enhancing his tankiness, while his Judgment will effectively shred through enemy armor. Ambessa transitions from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage and life steal. Minor tweaks are also planned for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista, ensuring a balanced meta.
Beyond champion updates, the Bandle-inspired Rift is set to refresh non-Ranked modes with Enchanted Gifts appearing through portals during the laning phase. Mages are in for a treat with updates to their items. The new Bandle Fantasy item offers additional burst damage, Hextech GLP800 slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance amplifies ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.
Ranked mode will see a new season kick off with the launch of the Challenger’s Star, featuring updates to the Ranked store and a streamlined way to earn seasonal rewards. As the patch progresses, the Adventure’s Star will unlock, introducing AAAARAM—a galactic twist on ARAM with added augments. The Wild Pass will also launch two stunning skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus, with Twisted Fate's skin introducing a brand new skinline.
LoL: Wild Rift’s version 6.1 patch is scheduled to launch on April 16th. For more details, be sure to check out the official website.
