The Open League offers an immersive football (soccer) manager simulation experience, deeply integrated with the Discord platform. This innovative game allows you to take on the role of a football manager, overseeing your team's journey through thrilling seasons and off-season activities.

Each night, the game simulates full 90-minute football matches, providing real-time play-by-play updates streamed directly in our Discord server. This feature keeps you engaged and informed about every exciting moment of your team's performance on the virtual pitch.

As a manager, you'll navigate through a competitive structure of 30 teams divided into three leagues. The top three football clubs earn promotion to a higher league, while the bottom three face relegation. Each season spans three weeks, making every match crucial in your quest for glory.

During the off-season, your focus shifts to youth camps, where you have the opportunity to scout and recruit the next generation of football stars. These camps, held over a weekend, are pivotal for building dynasties in The Open League, as successful recruitment can significantly boost your team's future prospects.

The off-season also provides a chance to organize friendly matches and tournaments against other managers, allowing you to test your strategies and team cohesion. These events add an extra layer of engagement and competition to the game.

At the end of each season, you retain your team, with players developing and potentially declining over time. Effective squad management is key to maintaining a competitive edge and achieving long-term success.

Transfers add another strategic element, as you negotiate deals with other human managers over Discord. These negotiations, finalized through the TOL application, require astute deal-making skills to strengthen your squad.

To assist you in managing your team, The Open League employs friendly bots within Discord. For instance, you can directly message your assistant, Chris, to send out press releases about your team's latest victories, enhancing your club's reputation and morale.

The Open League caters to players across multiple time zones, with matches scheduled at 7:00pm PST, EST, and GMT, ensuring that everyone can participate in the excitement.
