Our second Sloword application is now available, offering an exciting new way to engage with scanwords. You can access it directly from the first screen by clicking on the image, or navigate to it through the Settings - Other Applications section. Give this modern twist on traditional crosswords a try and refresh your puzzle-solving experience.

Scanwords in Russian represent a unique cultural phenomenon, unmatched in any other language. They are filled with literary questions, humor, and references to current global events, all woven into what might seem like simple crosswords. The Russian people have a deep appreciation for the power of words, cherishing and valuing them immensely.

Our application offers a diverse range of scanwords, from simple to complex, featuring photographs and classic or associative questions such as "one word" or "one word, two words," reminiscent of Elder Fur's tips. Each magazine includes an English-Russian scanword and a "holey" scanword, the name of which you'll soon understand. Every page welcomes you with a character from our cheerful family. We invite you to join us!

All scanwords are provided free of charge to our readers. This annual collection includes 52-53 issues, each containing 20 scanwords. The complete yearly set will occupy approximately 50 MB on your phone, as the images are small and the text is straightforward. We respect the storage space on your device.

You don't need an internet connection to solve the puzzles, provided the scanwords are already downloaded to your phone. A new magazine issue is released every Friday. If you have the "notification" option enabled, you'll receive a reminder every Friday at 12:00 local time. Upon opening the app, the new issue downloads automatically and won't repeat if successful. Additionally, you can download or delete individual magazines to your phone, or use the "Settings" to download all magazines at once.

The core features, including access to all scanwords, are free for users. Advertising supports the application, allowing one narrow banner per page and one interstitial ad before opening a scanword. Our advertisers do not interrupt the solving process and reward viewers with free hints for watching their videos.

Readers have the option, but not the obligation, to manage their ad experience by: a) permanently disabling ads, b) subscribing to remove ads and gain unlimited hints for the subscription period, or c) collecting hints in bulk. These options are clearly displayed in the "Shop."
