DownloadPower Cruise Control (PCC) is a smart navigation app designed to eliminate range anxiety for electric commercial vehicles, specifically supporting the Fiat e-Ducato (47 kWh and 79 kWh models). Unlike other EV apps, PCC connects directly to your vehicle via a Bluetooth OBDII dongle, providing real-time data on your State of Charge (SoC), State of Health (SoH), speed, power consumption, and more.
PCC's intuitive interface, featuring a clear Heaven-Hell indicator, guides you to your destination by constantly communicating with you. Maintaining a clear view of the app and following its instructions ensures a safe arrival. The app accounts for elevation changes (hills and valleys), your planned route, and factors like temperature, A/C/heating use to calculate energy consumption accurately, offering reliable range predictions. It also conveniently displays nearby and en-route charging points.
Using PCC is straightforward:
- Connect your OBDII dongle.
- Set your destination.
- Select your energy strategy.
- Follow the Heaven-Hell indicator to reach your destination.
This simple process ensures safe travel, with the Heaven/Hell indicator helping you maintain optimal energy consumption. New MultiCharge options are available, displaying real-time connector status (where data is shared by the provider). You can customize the app to display mph/km/h and Celsius/Fahrenheit.
PCC requires a Bluetooth OBDII adapter. We recommend the official Power Cruise Control® adapter available at https://amzn.eu/f49WbjO. While other adapters may work, they haven't been fully tested.
