The Quickest Methods: Merchants

For immediate access to Hylea's Talon, visit Lluisa Melcer in the Farmer's Market and Abritt Porrya in Piaza Mez Vidarro. These merchants, located in the early Emerald Stair areas, sell up to 5 Talons each for 450 coins apiece. This is the fastest and easiest way to replenish your supply.

Exploration Rewards

Similar to finding Paradisan Ladder in Dawnshore, Hylea's Talon can be discovered as a plant throughout Emerald Stair. Look for the plant icon on your mini-map (see image above). While exploring for this specific plant, keep an eye out for other similar-looking plants; there's a good chance they'll yield additional upgrade materials. Simply playing through the Emerald Stair missions and exploring the environment will likely uncover a healthy supply.

Crafting and Downgrading

If you've accumulated a surplus of Paradisan Ladder, you can craft Hylea's Talon at your party camp workbench. Four Paradisan Ladder units create one Hylea's Talon. Alternatively, if you have excess Admeth's Wyrt, you can downgrade it to Hylea's Talon using the "Downgrade" option in the "Upgrade Materials" section of your workbench.

Don't forget to deconstruct unwanted high-quality equipment! Weapons and armor of "Exceptional" quality or higher can be broken down in your inventory to yield various materials, including Hylea's Talon.
